    The Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Japan submitted copies of the letters of credence to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

    Ambassador of Poland to Japan Jacek Izydorczyk paid his first visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan on April 4th. During the meeting with Deputy Minister Shinsuke Sugiyama and head of the Protocol Akira Sugiyama, Ambassador talked about political and economic relations between Poland and Japan, focusing on the 60th anniversary of the restoration in 2017 and the 100th anniversary of the establishment of official diplomatic relations between Poland and Japan in 2019. Both sides emphasized the potential of tourist attractiveness and cultural values of Poland.

    In the near future, Ambassador Jacek Izydorczyk will submit credentials to the Emperor of Japan.
